Once the poll closed every day during the early voting period, the ballot boxes containing the ballots cast by the voters residing outside the Gu/Si/Gun were opened with voting observers in attendance to crosscheck the number of the returning envelopes with the number of those who actually voted. The ballot boxes were then sent to the relevant Gu/Si/Gun election commissions in charge of managing residential addresses of the voters.

The ballot boxes containing the ballots cast by the voters residing within the Gu/Si/Gun will be kept safe with the relevant Gu/Si/Gun election commissions and then transported to counting centers for ballot counting with party agents and counting observers in attendance as soon as the poll closes at 8 pm on July 30, election day.

The NEC kindly requested voters who have not participated in early voting to make sure their votes are cast on July 30, election day.

Voters should visit the designated polling station shown on the voting guide on July 30, election day and voting hours are 6 am to 8 pm.
