According to the National Election Commission, any voter may view the voters list for 3 days from July 13 to 15 in relation to July 30 repeat/by-elections.

The voters list is prepared by the head of Gu/Si/Gun in preparation for each election and one for the upcoming repeat/by-elections has been drawn up including all voters registered as a resident or domestic resident in the districts holding elections as of July 8, the base date for preparing the voters list.

The voters list is available for public viewing at the office of the Eup/Myeon/Dong holding elections or the website of the relevant Gu/Si/Gun office.

Public viewing is available between 9 am and 6 pm and with no time restriction if done through the Internet.

In addition, in the case an omission/error is found or an ineligible voter is listed in the voters list, anyone may file an objection with the relevant Gu/Si/Gun office.

Once an objection is filed, the head of Gu/Si/Gun should deliberate and make a decision on the case no later than the day after the receipt of the objection. If the person objects to the decision by the head of Gu/Si/Gun, he/she may file an appeal in writing against the decision with the relevant Gu/Si/Gun Election Commission.

The voters list will be finalized on July 18 after the period for public viewing of the voters list and filing an objection.

The NEC kindly asked voters to check if their names are properly listed as they cannot be able to vote on election day unless registered in the voters list.
