The Korean Civic Education Institute for Democracy within the National Election Commission hosts the Election Academy from February 18 until the end of March for prospective candidates and election campaign personnel.

The KOCEI is going to operate the Election Academy to be hosted by Si/Do election commissions in nearly 50 areas nationwide with the 6th local elections ahead, where participants in elections including prospective candidates will be informed of the must-know information such as election campaign methods, major restricted and prohibited activities, candidate registration procedures, etc.

Anyone who has any query about the schedules of the Election Academy, etc. can visit the websites of Si/Do election commissions or ask the public relations department of Si/Do election commissions for information.

The NEC has kindly asked prospective candidates and others for their active interest and participation in the Election Academy by mentioning that it has been arranged for the purpose of providing practical support for prospective candidates and election officials and establishing an electoral culture based on policies.
