According to the National Election Commission, any voter may view the voters list for 3 days from May 18 to 20 and file an objection against any omission or error in relation to the 6th nationwide local elections. The voters list for the 6th local elections is prepared by the head of Gu/Si/Gun office and includes voters (including foreign voters) who are registered as a resident with the relevant district or who have reported domestic residence as of May 13, the base date for preparing the voters list. Anyone wishing to view the voters list may visit the relevant Eup/Myeon office and Dong community center or the website of the relevant Gu/Si/Gun office. In the case there is an omission or error in the voters list or ineligible voter is listed, voters may file an objection with the relevant Gu/Si/Gun office. The voters list is finalized on May 23. The Election Commission asked voters to check if they are listed during the above period as even eligible voters may not be able to vote on election day unless their names are in the voters list. |
