The National Election Commission, with 6^th Nationwide Local Elections ahead, nominated Mr. Seo Gyeong-Seok, the well-known comedian and 3 anchorwomen from the main broadcasting companies (KBS, MBC and SBS) as honorary ambassadors to promote fair elections. In his speech made at the ceremony, Mr. Lee Jong-Woo, the NEC Standing Commissioner sought support for creating a clean electoral culture as well as voters’ attention and participation. The ceremony started with the presentation of nomination plaques, followed by choral singing of “Voters’ Song”, opportunities for the ambassadors to experience early voting, etc.
